The Lab Holiday Cards
Where it all began...
The tradition of sending the Lab Holiday cards was started by Linda Norling in 2003 with her Labs, Dakota and Gunner. Paul Ehlen hesitantly agreed to the idea, but after receiving favorable comments from customers and colleagues, the tradition continued year after year. The cards have reached what we affectionately refer to as “cult status”. Each year we have fun thinking of ways to tie in our products or services and thanking our great customers for their loyalty.
Dakota and Gunner started and continued the tradition from 2003 - 2009. Even when Gunner lost his front leg to bone cancer, he became Tiny Tim with the crutch and the peg leg pirate.
In 2010, the legacy continued with new Lab, Ki. The following year, Dude was added and Bridger was added in 2017.
Linda takes pride in dressing the dogs in their actual costumes, even though the background is added in Photoshop.
We hope these cards have brought a smile to your face each holiday season and for many more to come.
